After dating James Harden in 2015, Rose had something of a more serious relationship, albeit brief, with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. When they broke up closer to the end of the year, he admitted that his life on the road and aversion to having everyone in his business is what got in the way.
“It was just… ‘I live a gnarly life,” he told the folks at Hot 97. “I’m really hard to be around. I’m a head case,’ ” he said. “I embarked on a six-month tour. And, that spotlight is not what I’m about. She felt that off-top.”
