While everyone loves to behold the sight of a head full of locs of all sizes and lengths, a type of loc that deserves more time in the spotlight is the Sisterlock. Granted, installing Sisterlocks is quite expensive when compared to the initial installation of regular locs and that may be the reason more people aren’t diving at the chance to have them just yet. (When I was trying to figure out what to do with my hair before I started my locs, I was given an estimate of $500 by a consultant just to start Sisterlocks–that didn’t include the cost of future retightenings.) But those who do have the tiny but full and naturally coiled style look absolutely amazing in them.
