Who proposed with a drone? And who said no to the world’s most public proposal? Read on for the most romantic celebrity proposals ever.

Eudoxie and Ludacris’ #milehighproposal

Ludacris suprised everyone with his romantic bone when he proposed to his girlfriend of 7 years Eudoxie on their private flight from Atlanta to Costa Rica.

Not only were here friends and family there (including Shannon Brown, LeToya Luckett, and Marco Andretti), but when Eudoxie looked out of the window, the field below them read “Eudoxie, will you marry me?”

Can you blame her for saying “hell yes!”?.

Pink And Carey Hart’s Motocross Moment

Not only did Pink propose to Carey, she got creative. When Carey Hart zoomed around the track for his third motocross lap, she held up a sign asking “Will you marry me?”

Kim and Kanye’s Big Game

For some men, a $1.6 million 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring is all they need to be romantic.

But Kanye topped the bling by emptying San Francisco’s AT&T Park. When Kim walked in to the huge, empty stadium a scoreboard lit up with “Please Marry Me!”

Kanye got down on one knee to propose and a 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” and Kim said “yes” as her friends and family poured out of the dugouts.

Seal and Heidi’s Mountain Magic

Before Seal and Heidi went from madly in love to politely co-parenting, Seal gave Heidi one of the most romantic proposals of all time.

Seal tells it better than anyone else:

“I proposed on Dec. 23 at 14,000 feet in Whistler, British Columbia, in uncharted terrain on a glacier, in a natural snow cave, in an igloo built just for the moment,”

That is terribly romantic, especially if you don’t think about how Heidi returned the favor…

Nick and Mariah’s Double Take

Nick Cannon gave Mariah Carey Two romantic proposals in 2008.

The first was during the release party for “E=MC2.” The Empire State Building was lit in lavender and pink in her honor and Nick took Mariah to the roof of her Manhattan apartment building for a good view of it then got on one knee and proposed — with a 17-carat diamond.

But Nick knew that Mariah’s biggest fantasy was to be “kidnapped” by the man of her dreams. So with the first proposal over, Nick surprised Mariah by kidnapping her and taking her on a helicopter ride and proposing for the second time.

Dean and Tori’s Winter Wonderland

Dean McDermott took Tori Spelling on a horse-drawn carriage ride through a half-mile of lit Christmas Trees on a Tornoto tree farm. At the end of the path, McDermott surprised Tori with a proposal and a sapphire and diamond ring.

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman

When Christina Aguilera walked into her Carmel, CA hotel room it was covered in rose petals and gift boxes. Each gift box contained a poem that Jordan wrote himself, except the last box.

Christina opened that one and found a five-carat ring. Then Bratman got down on one knee and aksed her, “will you marry me?”

Noah Wyle and Tracy Warbin’s Scavenger Hunt

ER star Noah Wyle and his girlfriend Tracy Warbin discussed their proposal ahead of time and Noah made it clear: no Valentine’s Day proposals. They’re too cheesey.

So Tracy had no idea what was coming when she woke up on Valentine’s Day to a scavenger hunt. After she followed it all around town, she ended up at a romantic hillside picnic where Noah was waiting to pop the question.

Neve Campbell And John Light’s Shakesperean Moment

John Light recited Shakespeare when he got down on one knee and proposed to Neve Campbell.

Zhang Ziyi and Wang Feng’s High-Tech Romance

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon star Zhang Ziyi was celebrating her 36th birthday when a drone flew down to meet her.

Then she looked on in shock as her boyfriend, musician Wang Feng, plucked an engagement ring out of the box and proposed to her in front of all of her friends and family. And as she kissed him “yes”, heart-shaped fireworks lit up the night sky.

So romantic.

Chad Kreoger and Avril Lavign’s Night At The Studio

Avril Lavigne says that Chad’s surprise studio proposal was one of the most romantic things that have ever happened to her:

“The only thing that was weird was we usually go to the studio together and he had gone before me. And I have been making this scrapbook of my time in the studio with a Polaroid camera and the only thing that was weird was I walked into the studio and he was putting a picture in to the book and I was like ‘What is he doing?’

…And all of a sudden I walk over and he had taken a photo of himself holding the ring box and put the Polaroid in my scrapbook and because I had stickers everywhere he put in ‘Will you marry me?’ It was really romantic.”

Snooki and Jeff Miranda

The whole world was witness to Jersey Shoe star Jeff Miranda’s proposal to Snooki.

Unfortunately, not all romantic proposals have a happy ending and Snooki said “no.”

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves’ Christmas Gift

Matthew McConaughey blended his family’s Christmas tradition and his love for his baby mama Camila Alves into one of the most romantic proposals ever:

“During Christmastime we go around as a family and everyone gets their turn to open presents. I had wrapped the engagement ring in about eight different boxes deep so she’d have to keep opening boxes to get to it.

And because we go around and swap out and take turns on who’s opening presents, she had to get skipped the last 15 times. She kept going, ‘Why can’t I open that present?’ And I said, ‘You have to wait til the end.’ Finally I get to her and I’m calling my family over … and her eyes go wide and I take a knee and I said, ‘Will you marry me and take my name?'”

Tiffany Thiessen and Brady Smith

Brady Smith proposed to Tiffany Thiessen with a hand-illustrated book that chronicled their entire relationship.

When she finished the book and looked up in tears, Brady was on one knee with a ring in his hand.
