Before the record label, there was Murder Inc. the supergroup, which was comprised of rappers Jay Z,  Ja Rule and DMX. Together the trio released a plethora of singles produced by Irv Gotti. But after being together for some time, egos reportedly split them apart, specifically drama between Jay and DMX.
