We didn’t get to see too many scenes involving Stringer (Idris Elba) and Donette (Shamyl Brown), and we were fully aware of the fact that their sexual relationship was dead wrong. She was the girlfriend of D’Angelo Barksdale, who was Avon’s nephew (and Stringer was Avon’s BFF). But damn it if their scenes didn’t have us feeling hot and bothered.
