In the past year or so, Lorde reached new heights in her career. Sudden fame has its benefits but, like many other celebrities, the New Zealand singer has been the target of negative comments. Last year, Lorde and her boyfriend James Lowe both received racist tweets regarding their relationship. Although she opted not to go back and forth with the people making the offensive comments on twitter, the “Royal” singer admitted to “Rolling Stone” magazine that she was affected by what she read.
