Where Are They Now? The Cast of “Sparks”

- By

Phill Lewis as Det. Floyd Pitts

Phill Lewis, to me, is proof that making amends for wrong doings doesn’t mean the end of opportunities. Phill Lewis was becoming an established actor, but in 1991, he was involved in a drunk driving incident that left the driver of the opposite vehicle dead.  He was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison.  He made a sincere apology and decided to make a change. In prison, he created a prison performance troupe that was dedicated to informing the masses on the dangers of drinking and driving, and using drugs.

Once he was released, he continued to act, and stayed dedicated to encouraging people to make better decisions that could negatively affect someone else.

He’s been in prominent roles in hit shows like “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody,” “Friends,” “Scrubs,” “Yes, Dear,” “Total Drama” (he’s DJ!), “Special Agent Oso,” and he was also in the last film that James Avery shot, Wish I Was There.   He’s also an established director, directing episodes in some of the top series that he’s been in, and other productions.
