Beyond Red: Lip Shades You Should Be Trying
Black on Black
Are you daring enough to go all black everything, including your lipstick? Think Janet Jackson in the “What’s It Gonna Be” video alongside Busta Rhymes. The Queen Bee, Beyoncé pouted her lips in black when she teamed up with Lady Gaga for the “Telephone” video, and the look wasn’t as big of a no-no as it could’ve been. It’s definitely something to be worn on the trendsetter, not the fearful. The only downside to wearing colors as pitch black as this one is that you’ll have to be careful with your smiles and conversations, cause one wrong move can put the worst looking stain on those pearly whites. But if your willing to put up a valiant effort, the color of course can be paired with all black fits, nude ensembles, or black bottoms mixed with high fluting colorful shirts.
