To this day, people still throw shade at Alicia Keys when she posts pictures of herself with her hubby, Swizz Beatz. Of course, the couple started dating, she claims, when he was separated from his ex-wife, Mashonda. But Mashonda claimed that the couple was trying to work things out, and by dating Swizzy, Keys interfered in that.
“You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.”
The couple have moved on from such shade though, and have their son, Egypt. But some people still have something nasty to say all these years later.
