As one-half of the production team The Neptunes, Pharrell Williams earned a name for himself by creating futuristic sounding beats that fused hip-hop, rock and jazz. Starting out in the early 90s, the 40-year-old Virginia Beach native has still retained his boyish good looks. Comfortable behind the boards as much as he is in front of a microphone, Williams released his debut solo album in 2006 and is expected to release the long-awaited follow up sometime this year.
