Patricia Roberts Harris
Patricia Roberts Harris was the first African American woman to serve in the United States Cabinet. She served as the Secretary of Health and Human Services during the President Jimmy Carter administration. She also served as United States Ambassador to Luxembourg under President Lyndon B. Johnson, and was the first African-American woman to represent the United States as an ambassador. One of her many accomplishments include becoming the first national executive of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
