How could we not love a movie called “Black African Princesses”? This movie is far from advanced. But somebody spent some money on it, you’re truly invested in the characters Nisi and Mickey and there’s romance suspense, and messages of female empowerment all wrapped up into one. And on an entirely different level, playing a comedic role during this time helped Halle get over her divorce from baseball player David Justice.
