Nat “King” Cole not only changed the music game with his distinctive jazz sound and became one of the first African-Americans to host a television variety show, but attracted just as much attention for his stance on civil rights. So it’s not surprising that daughter Natalie became such an influential, prominent figure in music as well. Though she had her share of personal battles throughout her career, there is no doubt that this father-daughter combo is one to admire.
