Subtle in its sexiness and real in the emotions a girl might feel her “first time.” Surprisingly, Prince-Bythewood and others on the set thought the scene wasn’t steamy enough. This is what she had to say about that.
“For us, it hurts, it’s scary, it’s someone you love and it shows your vulnerability. I kept saying, ‘Thank God, I’m a woman and in control. I’m not going to do that because it’s not what the scene is.'”
