But seriously, when the singer Shanice dropped that popular single in ’91, she showed everyone her amazing vocal talents. If that song didn’t do her enough justice in your book, you could reach to her album, Inner Child, to be blown away by her rendition of Minnie Riperton’s hit, “Lovin’ You.” After Inner Child, Shanice really didn’t have much more success with following albums (four and one on the way allegedly this year). However, she did have success with providing tracks for big films and TV shows (including the Disney movie, Pocahontas) and in her personal life, getting married to actor Flex Anderson in 2000 and becoming a mother of two. She is said to be working on a new album to be released sometime this year, so keep an eye out for that.
