He’s Closer to Your Parents – Especially Your Father
If your man and your parents are suddenly all buddy-buddy, then chances are he’s preparing to ask for your hand in marriage. For traditional men, the best way to get to a woman is through her mother or father, so he goes out of his way to chat them up more so they get a chance to know what type of man he his. When you notice that your boo calls your father more than you do, it may be so that when he asks your dad for permission to marry you, he’ll be “in like Flynn!”
