The battle against food injustice will be a long one and will require the support of organizations across sectors, including government agencies and non-profits. However, you can do your small part in one of the following ways:
- Start a community garden
- Donate healthy, fresh foods to your local soup kitchen or pantry
- Transport neighbors without a car to healthy stores
- Donate to organizations fighting the issue like the Oyate Group, Food and Farm Communications or Learning Gardens
