Avocado honey body scrub

What you’ll need: ½ avocado, three teaspoons honey, two tablespoons cornmeal.

How to make it: Combine ingredients in a bowl. Massage onto damp skin. Rinse with warm water. Consider adding a particle trap to your bathtub drain so the cornmeal doesn’t clog it.

What it does: Avocado is rich in antioxidants which protect the skin against free radicals. It’s also deeply hydrating and contains carotenoids that boost elasticity. Plus, it can fight inflammation. Honey is antibacterial, antifungal, and moisturizing. Cornmeal is a great exfoliant, removing dead skin cells and leaving new, smooth skin exposed. It can also remove excess oil without leaving skin feeling dry.
