What’s for dinner

When one partner is doing the majority of the cooking, a question such as “What’s for dinner?” can easily cause tension and lead to an argument when the other partner isn’t carrying their weight as far as meal preparation is concerned. Additionally, when one partner never offers to cook dinner but frequently complains about what’s being served. Both arguments are suggestive of a lack of respect and an uneven domestic workload.
