Milk
Milk is another ingredient that, legend has it, contributed to Queen Cleopatra’s supple skin. It’s said she took daily baths in the stuff. If it’s true, she was onto something, since full-fat milk is deeply hydrating. Cow milk is fine, but if you happen to keep goat’s milk around (totally normal, right?) that has a pH that is closer to that of our skin’s. Just soak a cotton ball in the stuff, pat it on your face, let it sit for 15 minutes, and rinse.
