People are generally good at them, as a whole, or not good at them, as a whole. Those who know how to respect and maintain friendships generally know how to respect and maintain romantic relationships, too. It is very rare that you will find someone who is a bad friend and somehow miraculously a great boyfriend. You cannot disconnect those two parts of a man.
