I can't wait for my little bundle of joy to arrive

When you think of the Surviving R. Kelly documentary, there are a few women, amongst the pretty large group who stood out. One of them was Dominque Gardner. Not only was Gardner made to dress like a boy during her time with Kelly, one of the most climatic scenes from the documentary took place when Gardner’s mother, Michelle Kramer, rescued her daughter from Kelly’s clutches. What the documentary didn’t show was that three days later, Gardner returned to Kelly’s home. But when he denied her the opportunity to attend her brother’s high school graduation, that’s when she made the decision to leave him for good.

Gardner was with Kelly for 9 years, off and on, after meeting him in 2009, shortly after she graduated from high school at 17-years-old, the age of consent in Illinois.

When we last wrote about Gardner, in May, she was living with her mother and saving up for a studio apartment in Chicago.

Since then there has been an additional life update.

Recently, The Shade Room, posted pictures of a pregnant Gardner.

The second slide shows a gender reveal celebration on the beach. Her man hit some type of object to reveal that the couple is having a baby girl.

From the looks of things, her new man and baby daddy is White, which created a bit of discussion in the notoriously messy Shade Room comment section.

Personally, I could not care less about the race of the man with whom she’s going to have a child. My only concern is that she’s treated worlds better than she was with Kelly, that this man gives her the space and opportunity to heal and that her child is physically and mentally healthy.

God bless.

While Gardner’s Instagram page is private, her mother Michelle Kramer has been sharing updates about her daughter, including the pregnancy. Check them out on the following pages.
