T.I.

How Well They Take Care of Their Children

We can say quite a few things about T.I. but it’s evident that he’s there for his children. There’s a whole show documenting his physical presence and the emotional support he provides his children. Whether it’s his sons chasing rap dreams, or encouraging one to push through high school though he hated it or his adorable interactions with little Heiress, T.I. is there.

Fidelity

While T.I. talks about family often, his loyalty to his wife Tiny has come into question on several occasions. Not only is the videographic evidence of him being unfaithful, there was the time when he called his whole marriage to her a “distraction.” Given this their union produced children and supported him through incarceration and life after, it was a slap in the face.

Abuse

There’s been no documented evidence of any physical abuse taking place between T.I. and Tiny but the emotional abuse has aired out on national television. I’ll never forget the season where T.I. told Tiny that it was okay for him to sleep with a woman she hired to work for her because Tiny “wasn’t at odds with her.” That’s gaslighting, projecting all all other types of foolishness. For as much as their drama has played for the world to see, I can’t recall T.I. owning up to his habitual cheating.

Misogynistic Thoughts

You may recall that when Hillary Clinton was running for President, T.I. said that he didn’t believe a woman should be president because we’re too emotional. Meanwhile, there were more than a few times when T.I. let his emotions get the best of him. Like the time he ran up trying to fight professional boxer Floyd Mayweather. T.I. may be able to fight regular people. But Floyd would have literally killed him.

Anti Blackness

T.I. is generally down for the cause when it comes to social responsibility. Still, the fact that he disrespects the Black woman in his own home, makes us believe that he’s not concerned with the liberation of all Black people as much as he is about bringing more power solely to Black men.

Financial Responsibility

For the past several years, I can’t say that T.I.’s made poor decisions with his money. But his repeated trips to prison certainly jeopardized the bag–at least for a time– for his wife, children, mother of his children and the people who depended on him financially.
