Erica Mena has called off her engagement with Safaree Samuels after his ex- girlfriend exposed their affair on social media.
Gabrielle Davis, known for being on Love & Hip-Hop Miami, posted screenshots of conversations with her ex Safaree where he not only claimed to miss her and still love her but also made it clear he wasn’t going to marry Mena despite their engagement.
Since being exposed, Mena took to her Instagram story where she is seen knocking down vases of red roses, seemingly sent to her by Samuels. She then posted herself walking through the shards of glass on the floor while all smiles.
Samuels pleaded for Mena’s forgiveness via Twitter.
“This is not a loss I would be able to handle,” he tweeted. “I’ve lost a lot [before] and dealt with it..but seriously I cannot lose you. I have never felt so complete in my life and that feeling will be gone if I lose you. You are my everything and I can’t see my future without you. Please Erica.”
Despite telling Davis he was not going to marry Mena, he tweeted that she is the “most important person to him in the world.”
“I apologize for any embarrassment I have brought to you for me being immature. I apologize from the depth of my soul & heart,” he added.
Safaree has since deleted his Instagram account so he can take a mental break from social media so he can deal with his breakup in private.
