After Nipsey Hussle’s untimely death, artists from coast to coast memorialized the rapper with murals in their neighborhoods. Unfortunately, someone decided to vandalize a Connecticut artist’s tribute to the L.A rapper.

The teen, identified as Kaitlyn Renee, is seen in a video tagging the mural of Nip in Connecticut’s Heaven Park, painted by artist Corey Pane. She stands in front of the candles that were put there to pay respect to the slain rapper and ruined the mural by putting black cherries and other tags on it with black spray paint on Saturday (Apr. 27).  The person recording the video is heard telling her to not spray paint Nipsey’s face, I guess to encourage her to limit her level of disrespect. No one tried to stop her from committing such a heartless act. The internet was appalled by Renee’s insensitive behavior and she has been receiving death threats and backlash via Twitter and Facebook.

Renee, who also goes by “Kay Kay,” responded and said she didn’t understand why people were so angry over her vandalizing “some painting.”

“Y’all really mad,” she tweeted. “I ain’t boutta argue with none of y’all over some PAINTING. you know how much dope sh-t in heaven park gets painted over? Oh alright then hop off. Yah Boutta “kill” me over a painting. That sh-t is hilarious.”

Someone tried to salvage the painting by covering the tags with blue paint, according to the Hartford Courant.

Take a look at what she did below.
