It wasn’t long ago that Kim Kardashian wrote a whole emotional Twitter note decrying the everyday women’s online fashion brands who copied her expensive designer looks, sometimes within 24 hours, to make affordable versions of them for fans. According to the 38-year-old, “It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas.”
However, we can’t help but wonder if Naomi Campbell feels just as devastated considering the designs she’s worn, sometimes on the runway and sometimes for on-camera appearances and red carpet events, have been ripped off, per se, by Kim. One might say it’s a coincidence, but considering a few of Kim’s recent looks (as in within the last week and change) have been near if not spot-on copies of what Naomi wore in the past, we’re not so sure anymore. And without paying homage, it does feel like she’s copying our queen’s style.
Check out 11 times Kim has been a carbon copy of the 48-year-old supermodel in similar or the exact same looks:
This look is a popular vintage one from Versace, also worn by folks like Beyoncé. Kim wore hers in 2018, while Naomi wore hers in 2012.
