Actress Lupita Nyong’o is a stunner on her own, but her hair has been my favorite accessory of hers for 2018. The 35-year-old actress has been turning heads on the red carpet with her stylish natural and protective hairstyles and has been open about her hair being “shunned” in Hollywood. As a 4B/4C natural, her ever-changing hairstyles have inspired some new looks from me. Whether it’s ombré bantu knots or side swept twists, I’m here for all of the creative styles. Most of this year she has been working with celebrity hairstylist, Vernon Francois, who has been doing her hair for a while now. Francois is also knowing for caring for the tresses of Tracee Ellis Ross, Amandla Stenberg, and Danai Gurira (oh, no big deal).
