It’s not just our fellow women who give us fitness goals, it’s also famous and fine men, too.

It’s been a particularly great week for men showing off their gains. Case in point, Creed II star Michael B. Jordan. The actor shared a picture of himself from the set of the upcoming sequel, posted up on an old Chevy with his muscles flexed in the sun. It not only made us want to get moving, but it also made us look at the photo over and over and over again. Heeeeeeeey, Mike:

The trick to the 31-year-old’s jacked frame, according to trainer Corey Calliet, was to bulk him up for Black Panther and then lean him out to look like the lightweight boxer he needed to be for Creed II.

“My goal with [Jordan] is to always look better than the last time he was on [screen],” Calliet told Men’s Health. “We always go until we can’t go anymore.”

And “going” included heavy bag and mitt sessions, as well as bodyweight plyometrics and light weightlifting circuits. The results have obviously been pretty insane, and it’s due to consistency. Jordan works out daily, and when he’s training for a new project, he told Vanity Fair that he tends to work out three times a day and maintains a healthy, hydrating diet.

But there are some setbacks in terms of sleep.

“Do you know how often you have to go to the bathroom when you’re drinking a gallon of water? It’s not fun,” Jordan told Ellen DeGeneres. “Especially in the middle of the night, you’re trying to sleep, and you gotta wake up, and you’re like, I’m just going to hold it, and it just doesn’t quite work out.”

And don’t forget the impact it has on the man’s social life when he’s training to get ripped for a role.

“I mean it’s hard to go out to a club or party when you’re like, oh wait, meal prep, I’ve got to go pop this thing in the microwave,” he said. “It’s tough to socialize when you’ve got to get in shape like that.”
