Perhaps the mother of all momagers, Kris Jenner helped her Kardashian daughters become household names. In addition to launching the careers of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney as reality television stars, the Kardashians have segued into the world of fashion design. Ready to have the limelight to shine on her, Jenner has inked a deal for her own talk show. In 2011, it was reported that she was worth an estimated $20 million.

Just as I was thinking that the Kardashian’s have been flying under the radar as of late, news comes out that Kris Jenner — the momager matriarch of the clan — is about to be front and center once again. When we first reported on the possibility of Kris getting her own talk show it was just that, a possibility, but according to The Hollywood Reporter this is really happening and there’s even a debut date for the new show: July 15. Unfortunately, that’s not much time to mentally prepare.

The talk show, simply titled Kris, will be “Pop-culture driven” according to THR, and will feature celebrity guests, fashion and beauty trends, and discussions on lifestyle issues. Fox, which recently decided to dabble in the land of talk shows, is the network behind this new venture and has ordered a six-week test run that will air on Fox-owned stations in New York, Los Angeles, and beyond. If enough people tune in to Kris during that time, the test-run could turn into a nationally syndicated talk show that could air as soon as fall 2014 and would be produced by Twentieth TV. Robert Lifton, the executive producer of the one-hour talk show, seems to think that’s a likely possibility, telling THR:

“Kris has an incredible ability to connect with television viewers, demonstrates a wide range of interests and can successfully embrace light fare and conversation. She has a fantastic chance to be a true breakout personality in the daytime television space.”

And let’s not forget she has Kim. As long as people are interested in her daughter, her soon-t0-be-born grandchild, and her one-day-maybe son-in-law Kanye West, Kris will likely never have to worry about ratings. So, yeah, basically that Kardashian reign just won’t let up.

Kim Kardashian doesn’t appear to have missed a beat since it was announced that she is expecting her first child with rapper boyfriend, Kanye West and for a moment, the 32-year-old reality star believed  that her overly ambitious ways had finally caught up to her.

A source revealed to the New York Post that Kim was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday night because she feared that she was suffering a miscarriage. The way the story is being told, the Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor star began feeling sick on a flight back from Paris, where she made a few appearances for Paris Fashion Week.

“Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed. She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears. She thought she was having a miscarriage,” the insider told the Post.

She is said to have been sent home a little after midnight, once doctors assured her that both she and the baby were okay. Doctors also reportedly gave Kim a warning that there may be consequences to pay if she doesn’t slow down.

“Kim’s not respecting her pregnancy. She’s running around, working out seven days a week. She’s working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer,” the informant revealed.

The source also claimed that the manner in which the public continues to scrutinize Kim’s pregnant figure is having a major impact on her.

“She’s scared that her a** is as big as a couch and is going south. But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down.”

While Kim hasn’t confirmed whether or not the incident actually occurred, her sister Khloe did address the scare on her blog.

“A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim, and I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and loved ones for your concern and support. We love you!”

With 5 months left in her pregnancy, Kim may want to take it easy.

See that smile? That’s Kris Kardashian Jenner laughing while on her way to the bank to cash another check. I’m joking, I don’t know where she’s heading in this photograph. But, what I do know is that the Kardashian matriarch just landed a new gig and it doesn’t involve chasing behind Kim, Kanye and their unborn baby. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Kardashian matriarch is getting her own talk show. It’s been no secret that the mom of four has been wanting a show for awhile now, so this is great news for her.

“This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!” she gushed in a recent statement.

The show will be entitled “Kris” and is said to be a one-hour long, entertainment oriented talk show that will give viewers “a daily jolt of celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics — all through the distinctive and unpredictable perspective of Kris Jenner.” It will preview this summer on select stations owned by FOX.

“We go into this believing that if it works, the Kris Jenner program could really complement what we’ve got going with Wendy [Williams], Bethenny [Frankel], etc.” expressed Senior V.P. of programming for FOX Television Stations, Frank Cicha.

“The latest adventures, successes and disappointments surrounding the extensive Kardashian and Jenner family fill entertainment magazines and create daily online headlines. At the center of this fascinating empire is Kris Jenner — a dedicated mom and a successful business woman. Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted — all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host,” Executive V.P. of development and programming for 20th Televesion, Stephen Brown added.

With baby Kimye on the way and now, Kris Jenner’s new daytime talk show, 2013 seems like it’s going to be the year of the Kardahsian.

Kim Kardashian is reported to be a mere 13 weeks into her pregnancy with the “golden child” and appraisals on the worth of the baby’s first photographs are already hitting the Internet. Multiple industry insiders shared with RumorFix that Kanye and Kim Kardashian’s baby pictures could score the couple a little over $1 million. How does one go about appraising the value of something such as a baby photo, you ask? By analyzing the amounts paid to other celebrities for photographs of their children and then comparing the “hot-meter” measurements of those celeb parents to the parents in question, of course.

“Shiloh Nouvel, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s first biological child, fetched $4.1 million dollars from People and I think about $500,000 for Jessica Simpson’s baby … so maybe $800,000 to over a million for Kimye’s kid. That’s probably where negotiations will start,” shared a journalist from a popular celebrity magazine who asked to remain anonymous due to their publication’s possible negotiations for photos of the Kimye offspring.

“A People set up may be worth a million dollars easy,” an additional source shared with RumorFix.

It sounds insane that Kim’s pregnancy was announced not even one week ago and her baby already has a price tag. But, I suppose that’s just how things work when you’re rich and famous and of course, your mother is a media-hungry momager.

It has also been estimated that if some lucky photographer can manage to secretly snap a photo of the kid, they could make out with at least $100,000, although the chances of that happening are highly unlikely.

Another industry insider suggests that $1 million is chump change to Kanye and Kim and that they may opt out of selling their baby’s photographs altogether. Let’s hope they take the “Blue Ivy Carter” route and protect their kid from media exploitation, which is a possibility since it is already being said the couple has chosen to ban their child from reality television.

Let’s all collectively sigh together. Ready? Sigggghhhhh.

There are a lot of new daytime talk shows on the block this season which are hosted by some pretty heavy hitters, including Katie Couric, Ricki Lake, and of course, Steve Harvey. So far, the comedian has been able to hold his own in the number two spot, with an average of 1.3 million viewers, just slightly behind “Katie’s” 1.8 million, but if Kris Jenner gets in the game like reports suggest, it may be all bad.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

[Kris] Jenner, a frequent guest of daytime talk shows and guest host for The Talk and Today, is in talks with Twentieth TV for her own series that could get a test run on Fox-owned stations as soon as the summer of 2013.

A rep for Twentieth TV declined to comment on whether the talk show is a go at this time but did add that “Kris Jenner sure would have a lot to talk about.”

Fox TV stations issued the following statement:”There is a line out the door of people who want to do a test on the Fox television stations.”

Regardless of said line, I’m sure Kris will find a way to push herself to the front of it. The woman may be the biggest attention wh*re around, but you can’t say she isn’t a savvy business woman. I’m just not sure she could handle talking about anyone other than herself and her family. I guess Fox will figure that out in the test runs. What do you think?

Before we get started, let’s just say that no one’s perfect and that mothering is an extremely hard job.  When an imperfect person is placed in a position to be a perfect role model, it can be hard, and it gets even harder when your flaws are on display on reality television.  Every parent hopes that their child does better than them and doesn’t struggle with the same issues they had.  So, instead of seeing this as a “bashing moms” thing let’s see it as a hurrah to good parenting!!  These mothers might have their flaws, but they were able to raise their children to have a better outlook than they had, even if it’s just for one iota.  All right, readers, let’s do this:

Evelyn and Shaniece Lozada

People like to give Ev a bad rap.  Honestly, I’ve never watched the show until I did this article, but where Evelyn has made her mistakes of jumping on tables and throwing bottles, her daughter Shaniece has seemingly gone a different route.  Especially considering that Evelyn had her at 16, the fact that her daughter is in college and no one has put her on blast for flipping tables and roundhouse kicking people in the face, I say that’s a good thing!

Is it just me, or have the past few years of reality TV and tell-all books allowed people who embody all things shady get to the top and gain celebrity? Seriously, these days young women are seeing that while an education is nice, if you do something scandalous and talk about it for all to hear, you can get book deals, TV shows, roles in movies, endorsements, advertising for your business ventures and more. Decorum is out for dollars folks, and if you don’t believe me, check out the following individuals. I don’t like to say “Hoes be winning,” so I’ll just say these seven “fools” were (and currently are) winning for all the wrong reasons.

Karrine “Superhead” Steffans

Nobody gained so much notoriety for discussing lewd behavior as Karrine Steffans did after she revealed a who’s who list of famous (and often, VERY married) rappers she rolled in the sack with or went down on in “Confessions of a Video Vixen.” The chick was on “Oprah” for goodness sake! While the book was interesting, and you could also feel for her a little bit as a woman who was sexually assaulted and had it change her in path in life, it also left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe the whole kissing and telling culture just bothers me, but she didn’t seem that apologetic to the wives of the women she slept with, and spent more time either lauding the men and their packages or dissing their stroke. And after the fact she jumped on the media blitz getting her name out there, still dissing or running after men she claimed to be in love with (like Lil’ Wayne) and signed contracts to put out more of these kinds of books, and more. In the end, I think Steffans just exposed herself most over the years as an all-around sloppy individual, airing out everyone she ran into, including her ex-husband Darius McCrary, Bobby Brown and her current husband via Twitter. She made millions off of being messy.

Kim Kardashian should not expect double dating with Jay and Bey any time soon. With her high profile new beau, Kim K. might be expecting a little too much from dating and “parlaying” with Kanye West, including hoping to get a bit closer to Queen Bey.

According to Hello Beautiful and multiple sources, allegedly:

Kim had visions of her and Beyonce hanging out while Jay and Kanye talked music and business, but it’s not going to happen. Bey’s marriage to Jay-Z was extremely private, and neither of them confirmed it until long after the event. Kim, on the other hand, turned her wedding into a media circus, and the whole thing was filmed for a reality show. Bey thought that it was really tacky and is not a fan of reality TV, either. Bey is used to hanging out with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow—she’s in a totally different league to Kim.

Multiple sources, like The Urban Daily, have also reported that Kris Jenner allegedly has a STRONG (if not thirsty) interest in having Beyoncé and Jay-Z on the upcoming season of the family’s reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

This comes as no surprise, as celebrity couples date in the eye of the public and some like to flaunt their notable connections to other stars to gain press, views, money and more. In the case of Kim and Kanye, their ever-evolving union is suspect as they were allegedly only “friends” for years just a minute ago. But since the break-up of Kanye and former arm candy, Amber Rose, the model put a spotlight on the two. Kim was accused of being a ‘homewrecker’ by the model, allegedly getting in between their relationship and eventually causing it to fail. So who knows, this could be Kim and Kanye’s way of milking that unexpected controversy to get attention, or, they really could be serious about one another…*Kanye shrug*

But due to her fan base, fame and sometimes the very personal slander against her and her family, Beyoncé is known as a very private celebrity, and her alleged reservations about being associated with Kim seem to be justified by Kim’s very public life. So to say that Kim shouldn’t expect to be Beyoncé’s BFF by dating Kanye is probably right. And if Bey and Jay do decide to double date with these two, let’s just say that that will definitely be a sad day in Hollywood.

Away from the public eye, dating and forming a relationship with someone is less of a spectacle, but questionable intentions are sometimes still there. Whether your new beau happens to be a notable partner at the law firm, player at your job or in your field, or a respected member of your church, have you evaluated your “true” intentions for dating them? Could you be dating someone for their status and the connections they have, or vice versa?

Although it might not be as noticeable, it should still be evaluated the same. Yes, a relationship is a give and take partnership, but make sure the intentions of both parties are pure, not professionally or personally beneficial. Nobody likes feeling or being used.

Are you benefiting from your partner, or is your partner benefiting from you in the wrong ways? Here are three problems with that type of relationship:

1. It leaves room for speculation and criticism

None of us like to be criticized for our relationship status or the reasons behind it, but a relationship based on convenience will always be questioned, whether the intentions are pure or not. And as if your parents or friends needed another reason to be nosey about your relationships.

2. What’s really keeping that person around?

While you would probably like to think that your man is with you because you’re just that amazing, if you’re being used, once what he’s trying to get from you is gone or withheld (money, contacts, sex, etc), you’re going to be left faster than a bad hairdresser who doesn’t understand the definition of a “trim” (the opposite of a big chop). Being used like that and allowing it to happen in the hopes that something real will form can bring on more heartbreak than is necessary.

3. What type of statement are you making about yourself?

And if you are the user in this relationship, how are you representing yourself, taking part in a relationship that doesn’t seem meaningful? It could come across as saying that you are only the type of person who dates for status, money, convenience, etc. I’m not saying that you’re a goldigger, but…you kind of are.
