I guess Nicki is getting the last laugh.

Nicki Minaj No Frauds

Yesterday we asked you whether or not it’s petty that Nicki Minaj and Rashidah Ali, the latter individual being a former close friend of Remy Ma, have become friendly as of late. The two women shared a picture of themselves together at the launch of Ali’s new project, The Stiletto Group, and while captioning the image, Minaj called Ali her “good good sis.” When people had a less than pleasant response to this new allyship, Ali responded with an open letter where she stated that while she and Remy are no longer friends, they’re not enemies either. However, after the release of Minaj’s new video for her track “No Frauds,” I’m sure Remy would disagree.

The video features Minaj galavanting around the streets of London while she raps the lyrics of the Remy Ma diss track. She’s also spotted sitting on a throne while wearing a crown and in the club with both Lil Wayne and Drake, who appear on the track. But their appearances aren’t what really stands out in the clip. As if having Minaj question Remy’s parenting skills and hygiene wasn’t enough, she accused the Bronx-bred lyricist of having botched surgery by Ali’s doctor. The reality personality makes a cameo right as Minaj says, “I got before and after pictures of your surgery/Rah took you to her doctor, you don’t look like Rah/Left the operating table, still look like nah.”

Two things we noticed? That was Ali’s first and last appearance in the video, further proving she made a cameo simply to “pick a side.” Also, Drake wanted no parts of the Remy slander by his clearly uncomfortable body language. As I asked yesterday, “Who really wants trouble with Remy Ma?”

Whether or not Minaj and Ali are friends, Ali is obviously ok with inserting herself in the middle of some really ugly beef. Bad idea, sis.
