Should anyone ever get spousal support when a marriage ends? It depends on who you ask.

If you ask these famous women, they would probably tell you “Hell no!” When their marriages ended, their former lovers made a mad grab for their dollars, seeking not just spousal support but even receiving child support in some instances. Some would say that if some women receive spousal support from their former husbands, then it only makes sense for women who make more than their estranged spouses to dole out the same. And even in these famous instances, a prenuptial agreement doesn’t always ensure that a celebrity won’t have to pay anything at all. With that being said, check out 10 women whose husbands wanted them to pay up big time after their marriages came to an end.

It’s not so much spousal support as it is child support. Sherri Shepherd was ordered to pay ex-husband Lamar Sally $4,100 a month in child support, which increases to $4,600 each month when their son via surrogate turns 13. Shepherd tried to fight the responsibility of paying child support by claiming Sally had defrauded her by convincing her to get a surrogate, have a baby and then divorce her to collect child support. A judge disagreed.
