Because It’s Hispanic Heritage Month: Our Favorite Latin Baes
With the start of September comes the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a photo gallery of some of the hottest Hispanic celebs Hollywood has to offer. OK, that’s a lie. We could have definitely thought of a more educational, higher-brow way to salute our Hispanic brothers and sisters, but this way was just too much fun to pass up. So without further ado, MadameNoire brings you the 15 most stunningly beautiful, drop-dead sexy and incredibly charismatic Hispanic celebrities across stage and screen.
He may not be the biggest star on our list, but he sure is one of the most beautiful. You might recognize Ryan Guzman from turns in “The Boy Next Door” or “Step Up: Revolution,” but soon you’ll see him in the premiere”Heroes: Reborn.” But quite frankly who cares what he’s in, because this half-Mexican hottie is just too much sexy for us to handle.
He didn’t really land on our radars until he hit the ballroom stage on “Dancing with the Stars,” but once he did, William Levy was there to stay. This Cuban hunk has dazzled us with his swagger, incredible moves and chiseled bod. Now if only we could see him get more American TV and movie roles and then our lives would be complete.
He may not be the typical dreamboat that William Levy and Ryan Guzman are, but Diego Boneta certainly earns a spot on our list. His sexy bedroom eyes and incredible smile only enhance our love of this multi-talented cutie. He can sing, act and dance, even doing all three at the same time (case in point, “Rock of Ages”). Now that’s what we call the total package.
We thought Adam Rodriguez was a cutie during his days on “CSI: Miami” and then “Magic Mike” happened. Oh good lord, it happened. While it was hard to stand out in that sexy cast, Rodriguez certainly held his own, shaking that booty and showing off what some serious hours logged at the gym can do. Yum!
Sexy and sophisticated, Benjamin Bratt has always been one of our favorite Hispanic hotties. From his days playing Detective Rey Curtis on “Law & Order” to him stealing our hearts in “Miss Congeniality,” Bratt’s charisma and command of any situation makes us weak in the knees.
Before Laz Alonso started heating things up on the big screen, he was a Howard University grad who parlayed his education into a gig as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. Brains and a body…what a lethal combination. But as impressive as a career in finance is, we’re REALLY glad he made the jump to entertainment so we can all enjoy his brand of sexiness.
Fun-sized hotness! OK, Bruno Mars isn’t the smallest guy in the world, but he’s not exactly the commanding, buff-bodied hottie that some of our other Latin lovers are. But that doesn’t mean he’s any less attractive. With a silky smooth voice and moves to match, Bruno Mars can take a lap in our dreams any night.
Brazil is a land of lush landscapes, beautiful beaches and sizzling smokeshows. But don’t be fooled, it’s not just filled to the brim with buxom female supermodels. The men are also holding it down. Rodrigo Santoro is living proof. Our favorite role of his, without question, has to be in “Love Actually.” Plus it doesn’t hurt that he stripped down to his skivvies in that romantic classic.
Enrique Iglesias isn’t just a pretty face or an incredibly toned bod. He’s so, so, so much more. The King of Latin Pop has talent for days and a smile that cold melt even the coldest of hearts. While sadly he has largely been off the market (thanks a lot Anna Kournikova), we can still admire him from afar.
He may not be a super notable household name in the States, but Diego Luna is still one of our absolute favorites. With an understated sex appeal and dreaminess, Luna brings s subtle brand of sexy that we can really appreciate.
Damn you, Shakira! Not only does she have a bangin’ body and crazy good looks, but she also managed to score one of the hottest Spaniards in sports with Gerard Pique. You’re the worst!
Where do we begin with Maxwell? He is one of the most sultry, sexy and talented R&B/soul singers of our time. Every lyric out of his mouth makes us melt. OK, maybe we’re layering it on a little thick, but our love for this half-Boriqua runs deep.
If you weren’t already a “Game of Thrones” fan, then Pedro Pascal was the best reason to start tuning in. The Chilean-American actor captured our attention as Oberyn Martell in the popular HBO series and broke our hearts when his character made a very, ahem, messy departure. But that doesn’t mean we still couldn’t show him some love on our countdown.
With those piercing eyes and smooth, sophisticated demeanor former “Lost” star Nestor Carbonell was a must salute on this list.
