Raven-Symoné Isn’t African-American
Last fall, Symoné sat down with Oprah Winfrey and for the first time she spoke openly about her sexuality. But the former Cosby kid ended up making headlines not just because she came out of the closet, but also because she declared that she is not African-American.
“I’m tired of being labeled,” she said. “I’m an American. I’m not an African-American; I’m an American.”
