There are many shows that feature obese individuals seeking help and happiness; from My Big Fat Fabulous Life and Intervention, to My 600-lb Life. But none of those series showcase Vanzant’s brand of realness. Her 650-lb guest, Bonnie, was forced to keep it real about her own health crisis, as Vanzant reminded her, “Nobody put you on that bed. You did that.”
While this episode of Fix My Life was undoubtedly difficult for Bonnie, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Since the show, Bonnie has lost a considerable amount of weight and was even able to stand up for the first time in five years.
