Beyonce has used her music to instill a sense of empowerment in her female fans, especially the younger ones. But in 2013, Bey switched her sound up a bit when she released the screwed and chopped song “Bow Down/I Been On.” A lot of people came down hard on Beyonce for the lyrics including Keyshia Cole. “First ‘Women need to Stick together’ now b—hes better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the s–t. But when I speak my mind its a prob,” she tweeted at the time. While some of Beyonce’s fans agreed with Cole, others decided to call her out miserably on twitter.
