It wasn’t until Stewart was photographed canoodling with married director Rupert Sanders that she confirmed what everyone had already knew. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” she said in a statement. They tried to get through her indiscretion but broke up for good.
