In this day and age when the paparazzi can follow a celebrity to the ends of the earth and stars have a tendency to overshare on social media, these famous couples managed to keep their relationships on the hush — for the most part.

Keisha Knight Pulliam and Big Tigger

Several years ago, there was speculation that Keisha Knight Pulliam was romantically involved with Big Tigger. The rumor circulated online for several months and it was finally confirmed when the former Cosby kid took to twitter to wish the radio personality a happy birthday. “Happy Birthday My Love… My partner in life, love & silliness @bigtiggershow !!!” she tweeted. Soon after, the duo stepped out together as a couple to attend an event and that was pretty much the first and last we heard of them.

Evelyn Lozada and Carl Crawford

Evelyn Lozada had a very public relationship with NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson but after their month-long marriage ended with a headbutt, she was through. Johnson vowed publicly that he would win his estranged wife back but he probably didn’t know that she had already moved on to someone new. No one knew actually, until Lozada posted a photo of herself on social media with a huge baby bump. Lozada has been remarkably quiet about her relationship with fiancé and baby daddy Carl Crawford, who signed a $142 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2010.

Keri Hilson and Serge Ibaka

Keri Hilson has been absent from the music scene for quite some time now but she has been focusing her attention elsewhere. The “No Boys Allowed” singer has been dating NBA baller Serge Ibaka for several years. Although he has yet to put a ring on it, Hilson took to her twitter page last year to let everyone know that her man was taken. She called women out who’s sole purpose was to steal another woman’s man. “Why do girls think it’s cute to vie for the attention of a taken man? Why don’t they feel hoe-ish? When did this become acceptable?” she tweeted.

Michael Ealy and Khatira Rafiqzada

Michael Ealy has dated a lot of beautiful women but you won’t hear him brag about it. The “Barbershop” actor has kept all of his relationships under the radar and some of his exes include Halle Berry and rapper Eve. Ealy quietly married his girlfriend of four years in 2012 and the newlyweds welcomed their first child together last February. Ealy explained how he’s managed to keep his personal life off of the blogs. “It’s not really that hard,” Ealy said to Wendy Williams. “I don’t live my life in that way. I don’t live my life in a social way. I don’t put everything out on social media.”

Fabolous and Emily B.

For years, Fabolous acted and moved around like he was a single man and most of us thought he was. That is until his longtime girlfriend and baby mama Emily B. joined the cast of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop.” Tired of being in the shadows, she was ready for the Brooklyn rapper to publicly claim her or she was walking. In Fab’s defense, he reasoned it was better for his career if his fans thought he was single. After she left the show, the couple worked on their relationship and Fab no longer hid that aspect of his personal life. Emily B. is currently pregnant with their second child.

Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis

Can you believe that Macaulay Culkin was in a long-term relationship with Mila Kunis? They started dating back in 2002 but few people knew about the couple until they broke up in 2011. Kunis spoke about going to extremes to keep her personal life personal at all costs. “I don’t care,” she said. “I will go to my grave trying. It is hard, but I’ll end up going to a bar that’s a hole in the wall. I won’t go to the ‘it’s-happening’ place.” Kunis has been mum on her relationship with “That 70’s Show” co-star Aston Kucther and recently gave birth to their first child.

Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie

Virtually everyone knew about Sean “Diddy” Combs and his longtime girlfriend and baby mama Kim Porter. But he was less than forthcoming when it came to his relationship with Cassie. The two embarked on a secret relationship in one of the worst kept secrets of the music industry, probably because he was still involved with Porter. After being deceptive and coy for so long, the two finally came out as a couple, confirming something that everybody had known for years. Nowadays a few IG posts here and there are the only signs they’re still together.

Nick Lachey and Kim Kardashian

After he divorced his first wife Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey certainly didn’t want to have another relationship live in the public eye. The former boy band member started dating a little known socialite: Kim Kardashian. Lachey was adamant about keeping things under wraps but Kimmy was determined to get her name out there. He called it quits on their relationship, accusing Kardashian of being fame hungry and calling the paparazzi ahead of time and informing them of their dates.

Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong

After growing up in the limelight, Ashley Olsen has done her best to keep her personal business out of the tabloids. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that her relationship with Lance Armstrong flew below the radar until a paparazzi caught the couple sharing a kiss after leaving a hotel in the middle of the night. Their short-lived romance happened in 2007 before the disgraced athlete was stripped of his titles and medals. Olsen is currently dating director Bennett Miller, who is 20 years her senior.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling kept their relationship hidden from the public so well, most people forgot they were even together until it was announced that she was pregnant. The couple started dating back in 2011 but they have rarely been seen in public together, which is the best way to keep a relationship secret. Fans were shocked when news of Mendes’ pregnancy surfaced and several months later the couple welcomed daughter Esmeralda into the world.

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz started dating her “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” co-star Javier Bardem in 2007 but they kept their relationship low-profile, something very hard for two A-list celebrities to do. The couple sneaked off to the Bahamas in 2010 and came back a married couple. They have two young children together and in keeping with Spanish customs, they have their mother’s last name.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart met on the set of “Twilight” and soon began dating, but they tried to keep their relationship under wraps and refused to confirm that the two were an item. It wasn’t until Stewart was photographed canoodling with married director Rupert Sanders that she confirmed what everyone had already knew. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” she said in a statement. They tried to get through her indiscretion but broke up for good.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green started dating in 2004 when she was 18 years old and he was 30. That’s probably why the couple kept their relationship private for so long. They got engaged several years later but broke up before getting back together. They finally made it down the aisle towards holy matrimony in 2010 with a private ceremony in Hawaii. The couple has two young sons together and Fox decided to give up her acting career to become a fulltime mother.

Paul Walker and Jasmine Pilchard Gosnell

Paul Walker starred in the widely popular “Fast & Furious” franchise and his love for fast cars was evident. He was killed in November 2013 after the sports car he was a passenger in lost control and crashed. That’s when we found out about Walker’s relationship. He had been involved with girlfriend Jasmine Pilchard Gosnell since she was just 16 years old; he was 33 at the time. Gosnell has been having a tough time dealing with Walker’s death and sought help through grief counseling.

Moby and Natalie Portman

Moby and Natalie Portman certainly make an odd pairing but that didn’t stop the two from getting together. The EDM DJ dated Portman for a short time in 2001 and they managed to keep their brief paramour under wraps until it was over. “As far as the very brief affair that I had with Natalie, it’s made me a target of a lot of nerd wrath,” Moby said of their relationship. “You don’t date Luke Skywalker’s mom and not have them hate your guts.”
