Of course, we all know that Shakur is long gone, having passed away in 1996. But we also know that Shakur was working on a very promising acting career after his portrayal of trigger-happy Bishop was lauded by critics. After doing Juice, his first starring role, Shakur went on to have roles in Above The Rim, Poetic Justice, Gridlock’d and Bullet. His last role was as corrupt cop Det. Rodriguez alongside James Belushi in Gang Related.
