Even though winning “American Idol” changed her life for the better, Fantasia was still going through money issues. Fanny put her North Carolina mansion up for sale but she was asking $500,000 less than what she paid for it. After the low value failed to entice any takers, she signed over the deed to the house to the bank skipping the whole foreclosure process and was promptly asked to leave. In 2009, the “Lose Yourself” singer’s home was in foreclosure but she was able to save it in a last ditch effort.
