John Hagee, God Hates Welfare
We remember stories of Jesus helping the poor. But controversial preacher John Hagge seems to think that what Jesus meant to say was that “nasty” welfare recipients don’t deserve to eat if they can’t work. According to him, “God’s position” is that “the man who does not work shall not eat.”
