Sean “Diddy” Combs Brings Bad Boy Family
On March 9, 1997 the hip-hop world lost a legendary and gifted lyricist when The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed. A few months later, his mentor and boss, Sean “Diddy” Combs, held court at Summer Jam. Even though he was without his biggest act, Diddy was joined on stage by his Bad Boy family. Mase, The LOX, Lil’ Kim and Junior M.A.F.I.A., along with Diddy, performed in matching baseball jerseys and they each carried their very own Louisville slugger. The crew took some time out to pay homage to their fallen soldier.
