Y’all already know we love Bey around here, so it’s only right that I highlight the songs Swizz helped make classics on one of my favorite Beyoncé albums, B’Day. This song, like many of the others on this list, was written by a few people, including Swizz, Sean Garrett, Makeba Riddick, Angie Beyincé, and Solange Knowles. Bey, Sean Garrett and Swizz Beatz produced the track. It was another hit for the pop singer and it was recognized as the best R&B and Hip Hop song of 2007, reaching 68 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually 46 after the video was released. Beyoncé directed the music video along with Anthony Mandler. Sticking with a formula that proved to work for her in the past, Beyoncé tapped Swizz Beatz to write and produce “Ring The Alarm” and “Upgrade U” also for the B’Day album.
