Put It In A Love Song- Alicia Keys

Before Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz made their love official by tying the knot, they got together to write and produce the song “Put It in a Love Song.” The song, which features a verse from Beyoncé was released in 2010 from Keys’ fourth studio album. The song was later pulled in favor of “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready)” with Drake. Because they pulled it, it peaked at only #60 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts. As you may know Keys and Knowles shot the video for the song in Rio d Janeiro, Brazil. But like the single before it, it was postponed. And eventually cancelled all together. Kind of odd considering photos and even a teaser for the video were released. The only explanation we got from Alicia was “sometimes things don’t work out.” Right…The first time the two performed the song together was on March 2010 at Madison Square Garden.
