You don’t hear about Mel Gibson in the news too often, but in the last few years his face became well associated with being a dead-beat dad. Gibson and his ex-girlfriend finally settled their custody battle in 2011, which resulted in an agreement to pay her $750,000 for child support, as well as the promise to continue paying for the mansion he bought for his ex and his daughter. Thankfully, the huge mess has since been relatively calm and out of the spotlight.
