No matter what John Travolta does it seems he’ll never stem the gay rumors – or stop the lawsuits. Just this year, the Saturday Night Fever actor has faced five allegations brought forward by different people; all of them alleging similar harms. Two masseuses claimed that Travolta sexually assaulted them and sued for sexual battery; a Chilean cruise worker claimed that Travolta sexually assaulted him on a cruise ship after propositioning him for sex; the author of You’ll Never Spa in This Town Again (a supposedly true story chronicling the author’s sexual encounters with Travolta) sued Travolta for libel, after accusing the actor and his lawyer of making false statements about his mental health; and most recently, Travolta’s former pilot brought harassment charges, alleging Travolta’s legal team threatened him after he revealed details of a supposed affair with Travolta. The masseuses’ cases and author’s case have since been dropped.
