Most insurance plans pay for an annual pap smear, and it can provide you with peace of mind. Or, possibly catch something in its very early stages. These days, it’s recommended that you have pap smears every three years if they come back normal, but just because annual screenings aren’t required doesn’t you can’t go that route.
