“Cheat back”
“Cheat back, sis” is a mantra that has cropped up on social media over the last couple of years. The obvious goal is to empower women who are feeling heartbroken over men who refuse to be faithful. Returning the favor of infidelity sounds good in theory, but it’s a recipe for emotional disaster — not to mention the possibility of swapping STDs. If things have truly gotten that bad, it’s a much better idea to exit the relationship than to go tit-for-tat.
