Following the success of her first partnership with Ashley Stewart during the holiday season last year, Loni Love is back with a whole new collection of pieces for the plus-size women’s clothing and lifestyle brand.

The Real co-host launched her exclusive Loni Love x Ashley Stewart Spring 2020 collection on Friday. This is the first of three new collections on the way in her partnership with the brand, and the pieces are focused on embracing current trends as well as color. Love said the bolder the better.

“This collection is all about celebrating color and vibrancy right in time for the warmer months,” she shared with us via email. “I want to encourage women to embrace their individuality with these bright and bold pieces. More often than not, clothing in extended sizes can be boring and basic, so it was important to me to curate new and exciting patterns in this collection.”

The 48-year-old star knows just as much as anyone else shopping for plus-size clothing how important it is to have options that not only fit “curvaceous bodies,” but also are beautiful.

“I’ve been wearing Ashley Stewart for years, so I’ve loved actually being a part of the process of opening up affordable and fashionable options for women of all curvy shapes and sizes,” she said. “From launching my first-ever fashion partnership for Holiday 2019, to this latest Spring 2020 collection, it’s been a dream come true.”

We asked Love how her style has transformed over the years as someone who has to be on television every day and represents for plus-size women. She told us, “My personal style over the years has evolved, but I have always been drawn to bold, trendy pieces.” The line has plenty of that.

This off-the-shoulder top, with its bold print and design, the star paired with solid slacks from her collection and chunky jewelry, including a stack of bracelets, a chain-link necklace and large hoops all of the same silver tone. She wore a wig with soft curls and some cozy, strappy sandals.

This particular gown is definitely giving us the impression that she found some inspiration from Versace. The mix of a bright-colored print (the pink chain link) with the yellow and black blend definitely is a head turner. The dress is a button-up option, so you can show as much leg as you like. She paired the look with a wide belt, sleek wig and low-heeled sandals.

A fun look just in time for spring, Love rocks a cropped printed jean jacket with bell sleeves and puffy shoulders. It’s paired with matching jeans, and Love accessorized with denim sandals, hoops, bracelets and a sleek bob wig. We love the floral print and the fact that the jeans are skinny. Both are going for $59.50.

With Easter just around the corner (and the hope that we won’t be self-isolated for too long), this pink dress is perfect for church services and brunch dates alike. This particular dress, according to the star, is her favorite look from the full collection. “I am obsessed with the pink ruffle dress! It’s fun and bold, the sleeves are very trendy, and it definitely turns heads when I walk into a room.”

From top to bottom, this laid back look is part of Loni’s collection. The collard white button up top is clean and the Fearless skinny jean, which she rolled up to let her translucent sandals show, are perfectly paired. You can get both pieces, or mix and match. The shirt is $39.50 and the jeans are $44.50.

Keeping up with her love for ruffles, Love opted to break them up so they could be all over this sheer blouse and skirt ensemble. This take on ruffles is a little bit more on the sexy side. She paired it with strappy heels, hoops and a banged wig. The floral mesh short boxy top is $39.50 while the ruffle mesh trim skirt is $49.50.

One of our favorite looks from the collection is this dainty floral ensemble. Though it looks like a full dress, it’s actually a voluminous blouse and skirt. The black and multicolor floral organza puff sleeve top is $39.50 and the floral organza flare skirt is the same price. Love it!
