Sorry To Bother You the film project Govan says she is most proud of, given the limited budget for this independent film. Her work and the work of the entire production paid off though. It won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature. Costuming–as you can see from the poster– certainly contributed to the texture and memorability of this film.
