Make posts about purging their friend lists
Thankfully, no social media platforms have a function that publicizes when one user unfriends another so there are some who must go out of their way to share the news anyway. Usually, their posts will read: “I had to purge my page of the fakes and the phonies. If you can still see this message, you a real one.” It’s all about looking and feeling important.
